The SBI Sumishin Net Bank Group (the “Group”) “aims to become a company trusted by society at large with all directors, officers, and employees of the Group (the “employees”) cultivating their moral character every day by acting on the basis of trust and integrity with a sense of ethical values.”

The Group is requested to establish solid trust relationship with customers, shareholders, and society in view of the public nature of our business and our social responsibilities. To establish such trust, it is essential for the employees to have a sound sense of ethical values and comply with not only laws and regulations but also social norms. It is also essential to prevent any form of corruption including bribery, money laundering, insider trading, and abuse of position, that is, to ensure legal compliance.

For the purpose of supplementing the management principle and enhancing awareness of the compliance by the employees, the Group has established the “Compliance Code of Conduct” etc. that summarizes various items to be complied with in performing daily operations.

Fully aware of this purpose, the employees carry out their daily business activities based on a thorough understanding of the contents of the Compliance Code of Conduct as well as business-related laws, regulations, and various internal rules.

The following table shows the number of discipline and/or termination of directors, officers and employees resulting from violations of the Group's Anti-Corruption Policy.
No director, officer, or employee was punished or terminated for violations of the Group's Anti-Corruption Policy in the three years ending March 31, 2023. In addition, no fines, penalties, or settlements were paid in connection with such conduct.
